About me

When I was 10 years old, a family friend tired of me following him around. He noticed my interest in the scuba equipment sitting in the corner of his garage. So, he asked if I wanted to try out the equipment. The answer, of course, was yes. He put the equipment on me and told me to breathe as he pushed me into the pool. At that time, a scuba diver was born.

Two years later, I was certified as a junior open water diver through NASDS. Several years later, I re-certified through both NAUI and PADI. In 2002, I was certified as a divemaster through PADI. Just recently, I received my Associate Instructor rating through SSI. I have been diving off and on for more than 30 years.

I started taking pictures underwater to help people understand why I liked the activity of scuba diving so much. I assist with classes for much the same reason - I enjoy introducing people to the underwater world. I am blessed to live near an area that has tremendous diving.
